Disaster roles need training and readiness
Disaster relief volunteering is different from ordinary one-time service because volunteers may respond during stressful, fast-changing situations. Roles can involve home fire response, shelter support, blood donor support, public affairs, logistics, or preparedness outreach.
The American Red Cross of Arkansas is the verified disaster-relief example in this launch set. Its public regional volunteer page lists Disaster Action Team, blood donor ambassador, and other Arkansas volunteer pathways.
